Recalls are a well-established global practice; from time to time they are announced by almost all manufacturers of not only cars, but also any other industrial products. But since a car is considered a source of increased danger, it is recalls in the automotive industry that attract the most attention and cause the greatest resonance. Check if your car is covered by a recall campaign. Sometimes manufacturers will recall their cars because of substandard parts or workmanship and repair them for free, regardless of the warranty. This is called a recall campaign. More information on 1963 Chevrolet IMPALA recalls can be found in this database. Additional Description: Beautiful 1963 Chevrolet Impala SS. This beautifully restored Impala is powered by a 300 horsepower 327 that's been bored .040 and is backed by a 4-speed manual transmission and a 10 bolt rear end housing 3.08 gears. The 327 is from a '69 Camaro and is a large journal with a 10/10 crank, reconditioned connecting rods, SpeedPro pistons, Comp 327 350HP camshaft kit, Cloys Chain, rebuilt 882 heads and a new clutch assembly for the four-speed. During the restoration, driving and enjoying the car was priority number one. This is a very tight driving car that's ready for some good road trips. The car was converted to front disc brakes plus a new rear drum assembly, all new lines, gas tank, Flowmaster exhaust, new body bushings, control arm bushings and shocks. The car is also equipped with newly replaced power steering and power brakes. The original A/C unit has been replaced and is operational. All lights (including the reverse lights) / components work. The gear ratio will certainly let you pass up some gas stations and the four speed will et you have some fun in town. After making sure that the suspension and steering were going to be in excellent working order, the body was next. Most know that in order to have a black car, you're going to need a very straight body. This one will not disappoint. The body was taken down to bare metal. The paint is a base coat clear coat and has a great shine. The chrome was all re-chromed, new emblems and a rubber kit were installed. The interior is all new from Ciadella Interiors and is a black vinyl with bucket seats and a factory tachometer. The wiring was also replaced using the American Wire Classic update. New Bluetooth wireless replica stereo (AM/FM + Bluetooth and Aux outputs) to match existing head unit complete with kick speakers, top and rear speakers + 750 watt JBL amplifier and 2-12' sub box... Awesome Sound!!!
