Recalls are a well-established global practice; from time to time they are announced by almost all manufacturers of not only cars, but also any other industrial products. But since a car is considered a source of increased danger, it is recalls in the automotive industry that attract the most attention and cause the greatest resonance. Check if your car is covered by a recall campaign. Sometimes manufacturers will recall their cars because of substandard parts or workmanship and repair them for free, regardless of the warranty. This is called a recall campaign. More information on 1981 Pontiac FIREBIRD recalls can be found in this database. It may be useful to use online problems resource that shows automotive defect patterns, based on complaint data submitted by vehicle owners. The problems are organized into groups with data published by vehicle, component, and specific issue. See also an updated list of 1981 Pontiac FIREBIRD problems before buying a used car. In most cases, the recall is initiated by the manufacturer. But it also happens that it is forced to do so. The largest and most scandalous recall campaigns were those that were initiated by complaints and lawsuits from consumers through controlling state structures.

Major Options / Build:
Additional Description: The 2nd generation Firebird debuted in 1970 and would have a run until 1981. They were built at either the Van Nuys CA or Norwwod OH assembly plants. There were many special versions and appearance packages offered as well as engine variants. They were all offered as a hard top or T-top 2-door and were considered part of the muscle car line-up. 1981 was the final year for the 2nd generation and this is what we are offering. It is a very clean car that spent the majority of its life in Georgia with no signs of any rust or rot. The drivetrain is very clean and original to the car which starts, runs and drives very nicely. The interior is like new and needs nothing in our opinion. The tires, brakes and suspension are free of any weird noises or rattles. The A/C blows cold, the radio with 8-track works as do all lights and gauges. The car comes with window sticker, PHS documentation, original owners manuals, car cover, clean car fax and more. This is one heck of a classic car deal as this car needs nothing to be enjoyed. You could take this car to the next level real easy if you wanted to.Front Air Dam, Rear Spoiler, Center Console, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Gauge - Tachometer, Wheel Design - Rally, Wheel Diameter - 15 Inch, Front Seat Type - Bucket, Upholstery - Cloth
